Donald Shearer is widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading golfing artists with works in major public and private collections around the world. Being a keen golfer himself, his finely detailed and evocative paintings of the famous Scottish golf courses have gained him international acclaim and his renowned series of limited edition prints and signed ‘collectors’ prints enjoy a global market. Donald Shearer was born in Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland and studied at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, where he was awarded a Post Diploma Scholarship. In 1953 he won The Royal Scottish Academy award, and since 1958 he has exhibited regularly at The R.S.A. and The Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts.
You can choose from a wide selection of signed limited edition prints as well as a collection of signed “Open” edition prints including the Ryder Cup PGA Centenary course at Gleneagles. Prints will be shipped/posted in a strong cardboard tube.
